SLAV - Slavic Studies Group was created by professors at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2017. The group emerges from the need for debating, promoting, and publishing research in Slavic Studies in Brazil. There are many activities being developed in this field in the country, which lacks a unifying space that guarantees due visibility. Currently, the grou is made up of professors and students from UFRJ.
